Since we started our information security business based on network traffic analysis technology in 1998, we have been leading the development of security technology and the market for the past 20 years. In 2000, we pioneered the information security market in the early days by launching the ‘SNIPER’ product line, a brand representing the Korean information security industry. Based on long-term accumulated experience and technical know-how, we have an edge in various core solutions ranging from intrusion prevention system(IPS), DDoS response system, unified threat management(UTM), and firewalls. Since then, we have been proactively responding to diversified attacks and security threats by not only providing information security solutions but also expanding our business areas to security services.
In the field of information security solutions, WINS has an intrusion prevention system (IPS) and a DDoS response system that have ranked first in the domestic market share since it was developed and supplied in 2005 and 2010. We are also supplying 20 types of security solutions such as next-generation firewall, APT attack response solution. In addition, we succeeded in developing and commercializing 5G infrastructure security and 40G and 100G IPS for the first time in Korea, and are supplying related equipment to mobile carriers. In the field of information security services, we provide cloud security, managed security, security consulting, security equipment rental, and security contents. We provide managed security services, security system implementation, and integrated security consulting to customers in all industries, and have expanded our cloud business in earnest from 2020. As an MSP operator, WINS provides a total cloud infrastructure security service that provides professional security services at all stages from cloud introduction to design, implementation, and operation of customers.
By developing 40G and 100G products for the first time in Korea, it contributed greatly to Korea's commercialization of 5G for the first time in the world.
